Accademia dei bambini presents ‘Facciamo finta che…’ (Let’s pretend that…) the new workshop curated by Stefano Colombo, Eugenio Cosentino and Luca Marullo of Parasite 2.0, a research and design agency, from 20 April to 16 June 2024.
During the workshop, children use unusual materials to transform their bodies and their environment; they can move and assemble primary, soft and colourful architectural forms to create surprising imaginative constructions. Pretending to be members of a small tribe, they learn to exploit and share the available resources to invent a richer, more welcoming world. A threshold, a tent, a spring transform the Accademia dei bambini into a pristine micro-world where they can discover, through play, the importance of kindness and sharing.

Every workshop at Accademia dei bambini is dedicated to children and family and it is conceived by a different “master”. “Masters” are architects, educators, artists, scientists, directors and musicians who are willing not only to teach, but also to acquire new inspirations. The workshops proposed by the “masters” are then developed by a group of educators coordinated by Marta Motterlini, an expert in museum educational programs.
