Bubbles of Time

Parasite 2.0 x Kaldewei, Palazzo Crespi, Milan Design Week, from 20th to 26th of April 2026, Milan.

In the historic Portaluppi’s Palazzo Crespi in the heart of Milan, the premium bathroom manufacturer, together with the Milan-based design studio Parasite 2.0 and in collaboration with Forgotten Architecture, creates a multi-layered spatial narrative in which iconic objects, current innovations and visionary perspectives merge into an atmospheric overall staging.  The installation unfolds across the foyers on the ground and basement floors of Palazzo Crespi, presenting a curated selection of Kaldewei product icons and innovations within a cinematic spatial concept.

Parasite 2.0 creates a theatrical setting of floating forms, light and reflections, allowing the products to appear like fleeting moments within a continuous flow of time. “Portaluppi’s bathroom design makes us constantly wonder whether something is about to happen. From a Hitchcock thriller to a romantic comedy with Grace Kelly – in Portaluppi’s hands, bathrooms become the perfect stage,” explain Stefano Colombo, Eugenio Cosentino and Luca Marullo Viola of Parasite 2.0, whose approach is inspired by Hollywood and Italian grandeur.
