Parasite 2.0 and Bianco67 present XC Milano @ Capsule Plaza; Highsnobiety; Labò; Sandì Ristorante. Milan Design Week, from 7th to 13th April 2025, Milan.
Parasite 2.0 and Bianco67 invite you to discover XC Objects’ third capsule collection dedicated to the city of Milan. The connections between the city and its vibrant community of bars and restaurants inspire this special collection presented in occasion of Salone del Mobile 2025. Composed by small and medium objects – candle holders, vases, side tables, to mention a few – the collection is designed for Sandì Ristorante, a new culinary venue run by chef Laura Santosuosso and Denny Mollica, designed by Parasite 2.0 and manufactured by Bianco67. During the days of Salone del Mobile, the restaurant will host and use the XC Milan collection during the service hours.
XC Objects is a project born from the collaboration between Parasite 2.0 and Bianco67. It is through the combination of Bianco67’s extensive experience in working with marble, stones, and granite and Parasite 2.0’s design approach that the project takes shape. At its core is the desire to reinterpret waste materials from these processes and integrate them into new value-driven contexts. XC Objects uses stone processing waste as its primary material but places it within a more complex and open ecosystem. By developing a dry-joint system, materials of different types and sizes can be assembled and disassembled, allowing them to return to their original form. The resulting objects can have infinite configurations due to the versatility of the joints, making them adaptable for various uses and giving users the freedom to envision their final form. The joint becomes the design tool that redefines these objects’ role within the production landscape. A material that, as waste, has lost its original functional value retains its intrinsic worth thanks to its interaction with the connection element, opening up new cultural and production possibilities.
XC Milan follows the release of two previous capsule collections: XC Objects, designed and awarded as the Main Exhibitor at EDIT Naples 2024, and XC Miami, showcased at Alcova Miami during Art Basel Miami 2025.
All the objects are made using reclaimed marbles and stones from Bianco67 factory.
XC Objects is a project designed by Parasite 2.0 and manufactured by Bianco67.
